What's a runtime?
The runtime version is a full copy of NorthStarDb bundled with a free limited version of FileMaker 9.0. The runtime version is fully functional but has the following limitations vs using NorthStarDb with a full copy of FileMaker.
1-The runtime does not allow sharing over a network.
2-The runtime does not allow seeing of the source code or the re-programming of NorthStarDb
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, you can upgrade from the runtime to full NorthStarDb with Full FileMaker at any time. |
