Data entry for payments, donations, purchases, and memberships or dues are
on the same screen.

  • A payment requires at minimum the Post Date, the Amount (can be 0) and
    a Payment Title.
  • If the payment is to be used for a membership or dues payment, you must choose “YES” in the dues payment choice in the upper right and fill in start date, duration, and grace period.

The optional QuickBooks Linking let you transfer payment items entered into NorthStarDb to QuickBooks. If you choose not to use this feature the Quick Books section above will not show. To use this feature, you of course need to have QuickBooks and also an extra cost add on program called FileBooksLink. For more information on linking to Quick Books contact Clif Graves consulting.
